Coal Miner Certification
About Us
The Coal Miner Certification Section is responsible for the certification of coal miners working in Utah’s coal mining industry. The Section administers five different certification tests: Underground Electrician, Surface Electrician, Fire Boss, Underground Mine Foreman and Surface Foreman.
For more information about the certification process or any of the certification tests, please contact the Section office at (435) 613-5901. Office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (MST), Monday – Friday.
