Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division


The Utah Antidiscrimination & Labor Division investigates and resolves employment and housing discrimination complaints and enforces Utah's minimum wage, wage payment requirements and laws which protect youth in employment.

Through their successful Education & Outreach Program, the Division also promotes public awareness through educational presentations and training workshops.

Program Description

The Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division (UALD) has three distinct and separate missions.

  • Wage Claim Unit - Enforces the Utah Payment of Wages Act, the Utah Minimum Wage Act and the Utah Employment of Minors Act.
  • Fair Housing - Enforces the Utah Fair Housing Act.
  • Employment Discrimination. - Enforces the Utah Antidiscrimination Act and the Utah Employment Selection Procedures Act.

Executive Summary

Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

The PSLF Program allows eligible borrowers to qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance of their William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program loans after they have served full time at a public service organization for at least 10 years, while making 120 qualifying payments.
