Licensing of Employment Agencies
The Wage Claim Unit is responsible for the licensing of private employment agencies in accordance with Utah Code Ann. §34-29-1. All employment agencies must be licensed with the Division prior to operating in the State. Licenses may be obtained by completing an application for certificate of license and by positing a $1,000 bond. Please call (801) 530-6953 for more information.
