Utah Antidiscrimination & Labor Division

Books The Utah Antidiscrimination & Labor Division investigates and resolves employment and housing discrimination complaints and enforces Utah's minimum wage, wage payment requirements, laws which protect youth in employment and the requirement that private employment agencies be licensed.

Through their successful Education & Outreach Program, the Division also conducts public awareness through educational presentations and training workshops.

Program Description

The Utah Antidiscrimination & Labor Division (UALD) has three distinct and separate missions.

Wage Claim Unit
Fair Housing,  and
Employment Discrimination.

Each of them addresses and establishes standards which govern, maintain and ensure the general well being of Utah's workforce, its employer community and nondiscriminatory housing practices.
