Education and Outreach

The educational mission of the Utah Antidiscrimination & Labor Division is to help employers, employees, housing providers, tenants, realtors, bankers, and the general public better understand their rights and responsibilities under the various laws we enforce.

Our outreach program distributes training materials (in both English and Spanish) and sponsors various educational events throughout the State. In addition, the Division, in conjunction with the Utah Department of Workforce Services and the U.S. Department of Labor, produced three training videos on discrimination and wage laws. These videos are accessible by the general public on our website at http://jobs.utah.gov/edo/laborlaw/dwsdefault.asp.

Generally, we are happy to provide training free of charge. If you are interested in having a Division representative speak at your meeting or event, or to otherwise provide training on the various laws we enforce, please contact us at (801) 530-6801or uald@utah.gov.
